Casa de Las Sirenas |
| This
unique project became the inspiration for the naming of
this clients home, "La Casa de Las Sirenas", The
House of the Mermaids. Indigenous wildlife from the coastal
area were incorporated into the design, and the two large
panels were sculpted to fit perfectly into two existing
niches surrounding the entrance. Each mermaid panel features
very high relief, adding to the sense of depth are the tails
which curl outward to actually reach beyond the edges of
niche. The smaller panel for the entry wall, below, was
the perfect finishing touch. |
