Villiage |
This
pair of backsplashes creates two scenes from an English
countryside. The English village on the left is shown in
more detail on the next page.On the right side is a rural
scene showing wheat being harvested and loaded into a waiting
wagon. Two rabbits snack off of the scraps.
The niche in the middle is framed with the wheat tile and
completed to and bottom with a custom panel incorporating
the wheat theme. The cornice at the top was made to match
the molding on the cabinetry while the supporting brackets
and finial harken back to Victorian architecture. The field
tiles inside make a perfect foil for flower arrangements,
sculpture or other art work. |
